The concert to celebrate 25 years of the world's most famous musical took place at the O2 Arena in London in front of a total of 36,000 people. Audiences to 250 cinemas around the country swelled the audiences and made the event much more than a simple concert. The lighting design was a true hybrid of a large scale arena spectacle and a more subtle theatrical experience.
