Project Salute concerts, Kuwait/Baghdad/Doha

An eclectic group of performers came together to perform two shows in Kuwait and Doha for the US troops stationed there. Kid Rock, Wayne Newton and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders among others. Our backdrop was some camouflage netting spread between two high-loaders behind a stage on the edge of the desert. On our day off we flew to Baghdad Airport and repeated the show in a sweltering aircraft hanger surrounded by a crowd of a thousand cheering soldiers.
